Ted Tripp :: Shepherding a Child’s Heart – GET IT TODAY!!! It’s pretty easy to find on the World Wide Web.

Last fall, fall 2009, my friends and I took this video Bible study together. We were so full of questions and wanting practical tips for raising babies (at this point all our children were 3 or younger).  Ted Tripp challenged us to address heart issues instead of behavior issues.  He begins the 13-week study by addressing our heart issues as parents.  He says if we are not pursuing the Lord and looking at our own heart issues, how can we expect to practically teach our children to do it?  It’s deeper than just getting your kid to behave in public or teaching manners.  It’s an encouraging and challenging study that helps parents pave the way for making Jesus central in our family interactions.
This book is a great resource in helping us practically disciple and minister to our girls!  This book is a perfect gateway Bible study for anyone who is needs structure for how to start your new family focused on Christ. Many new parents want Jesus to be central in their family life, but they do not have a good plan for how to go about it.  Get a copy of this book. Read it.  If your church, a friend’s church or a group of people you kind of know start a Bible Study offering the video series, sign up!

  1. I know a teacher who uses this book to set up her rules and classroom policies. It has made a HUGE difference in her classroom. Every rule is based on scripture and she truly lives a Godly life–inspiring!

  2. Thanks Amy!! I got invited to do this Bible Study & was wondering about it, you have made me ever more excited : )
