Bunny Cake

It’s no secret that Pinterest is one of the best places to find creative ideas for seasonal fun! But… never under estimate the creative power of the grandmother! My mom visited us around Easter and we threw together this fun cake using my left over cake decorating supplies and her memory. I am sure there are tons of places online where you can find a step by step version of this cake, but this is the Davis Gal’s version:

1. Follow cake mix instructions and pour batter into two round pans.
2. Use one round cake for the head. Make two round cuts in the second cake forming the ears. Use the middle as the bow tie. (This is where you could find better directions online, it’s easy…)

3. Frost the bunny
4. Use your imagination for his nose and whiskers
5. Invite your little ones to join in decorating the bow tie.

Special thanks to my mom for this creative idea, the patience to see it through and for doing the dishes! I love you:)
