15 Minute Drawing Challenge: Ephesians 3:14-19

15 Minute Drawing Challenge: Ephesians 3:14-19 (ESV)

If you are joining us this week, check out this post for how to participate!

Today our inspiration and verse is:

14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,
15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

This week I added an illustration to keep things interesting and challenge myself! I am encouraged by Paul’s prayer today! I am thankful to know that I am strengthened with POWER through the Holy Spirit! 2014 is going to be full of adventure and change, challenges, hard times and beautiful blessings! I want to be strong to notice, experience and participate in my relationship with Christ! I am thankful for this passage!

I love to drive around with my kids and look at the Christmas lights this time of year. Living in a little town makes it easy to drive by all the beaming neighborhoods in like 20 min. I also love decorating my home for Christmas! I like being resourceful and using the reds and greens from outside to bring my indoor Christmas vibe alive!

As you may already know, POPPY RED has been my color since, well, this whole year. It should come as no surprise that I have spotted red berries growing on some thorn bushes on the long road to my house. For the past 3 weeks I have been scouting out my attack on those berries! Finally, this week, I just pulled over in my truck, blared some Christmas music, jumped the barb wire and trimmed away!
And I’ve put them everywhere!
I snipped this from the fields beside our home. It is filled with thorns, but the red berries are so beautiful

Giveaway print by Yours Truly!

I attended an awesome conference a few weeks ago with my close gal pal Jessica. It is called, Allume. It was really great! Still trying to unpack all that God has taught me in that one weekend. Anyways, I was able to meet and hear Ann Voskamp, which I can now mark off my bucket list! As most of you know I did a print for my friend Jessica to post as a free download at her blog (handmedowngrace.com, click here to go there and download it). Since she posted it, it has received over 2,000 downloads! So, I am pretty thrilled about that!
Today, I am offering a giveaway at crystalstine.me. I met Crystal at Allume and was inspired by her heart for building real Biblical community right where you are! I am happy to share in the relaunch of her blog. This print is available until the 27! So, go here now and register to win!!

Day 31: Custom Painting
Today is the last day in my 31 Days of Artsy Giveaways! I have had such a great experience sharing these pieces with you and I am so thankful for those of you who bought tickets to help us raise money for our adoption. So far we have raised over $3500! Thank you to everyone who has supported us in this raffle as well as the generous donations we have received this month.

I am giving away a custom painting today! At the beginning of the month, I made a list of giveaways, assigned everyone a number, and used an online number picker to choose the winner for each day. Somewhere in the middle of the month, I contacted the winner of today’s custom painting and began working on her custom project. This is the first draft of the artwork. I wanted to share it with you on the last day of my 31 Days of Artsy Giveaways!
